Monde Nissin’s Santa Rosa Site was recognized during the GREEN Awards 2026 held on July 17, 2026 at the City of Santa Rosa Multipurpose Complex, receiving three recognitions that reflect the company’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship, energy efficiency, and community partnership.
The annual GREEN Awards honors organizations and institutions that actively support City of Santa Rosa’s environmental protection and sustainable development programs. This year, Monde Nissin Santa Rosa Site received three recognitions that reflect the company’s shared commitment to creating positive environmental impact and advancing its Making Better Possible journey.
CERTIFICATE AWARDEE
Monde Nissin Santa Rosa Site was recognized as a Certificate Awardee for its invaluable partnership, outstanding commitment, and unwavering support in advancing environmental protection and sustainable development initiatives in the City of Santa Rosa.
The recognition highlights Monde Nissin’s participation in the City’s SILAKBO (Sikad, Lakad, Takbo) program since 2024, an annual initiative that promotes active mobility, environmental awareness, and community engagement. In 2026, more than 400 Monde Nissin employees joined the SILAKBO Fun Run, demonstrating the company’s continued commitment to supporting sustainability initiatives beyond its operations.
EARTH HOUR ADVOCATE
Monde Nissin Santa Rosa Site was also recognized as an Earth Hour Advocate for its active participation in Earth Hour 2026, reinforcing the company’s commitment to climate action and environmental stewardship.
This year, Earth Hour participation was institutionalized across Monde Nissin, with eight (8) sites, including MMYSC and SMFC, joining the annual global movement by switching off non-essential lights and engaging employees in activities that promote energy conservation and sustainable habits.

RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY PARTNER
Monde Nissin Santa Rosa Site was further recognized as a Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partner for its outstanding efforts in reducing emissions and advancing clean energy. The recognition was based on the Santa Rosa Site’s 2021–2025 sustainability performance, highlighting its improved GHG emissions intensity, transition to 100% renewable electricity since mid-2022 through geothermal and solar energy, and the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives.
The submission underwent evaluation by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) before being selected for recognition.
These recognitions reflect the dedication and collaboration of our teams in integrating sustainability into our operations and supporting initiatives beyond our facilities. As we continue our Making Better Possible journey, every employee’s contribution plays an important role in helping create a more sustainable future for our communities and the planet.
